The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, representing the Tinubu administration, has pledged unwavering commitment to ensuring justice for the victims of the recent attacks on communities in Barkin Ladi and Bokkos Local Government Areas of Plateau State. Shettima conveyed this assurance during his visit to the crisis-ravaged communities to extend condolences and support.
Expressing heartfelt condolences and deep apologies to the affected communities, Shettima emphasized the administration’s determination to bring the perpetrators of the attacks to justice and ensure the safety of residents. He vehemently declared, “We won’t rest until you access justice and until you are safe.”
Shettima informed the grieving communities about President Bola Tinubu’s profound sorrow and shock over the tragic incident, stating that the president “is deeply shaken by this tragedy and shares in this unspeakable sorrow that has shattered the joy of Christmas across the country.”
