Nigeria Police Force Issues Warning About Fake Recruitment Website

by VIVIAN JENSEN

In a recent statement, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has alerted the public to be cautious of a fake recruitment website that is falsely impersonating the official police recruitment portal. The warning was issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Wednesday.

The statement highlights that a fraudulent website, unrelated to the police force, is currently misleading and soliciting applications from the public. This counterfeit portal is entirely distinct from the legitimate one established by the police for their ongoing recruitment process.

Adejobi’s statement read, “The Nigeria Police Force has detected the existence of an unauthorized portal that has been misleading prospective applicants by soliciting applications in the name of the Force. It’s crucial to clarify that this deceptive portal is in no way associated with us.”

The NPF emphasized its commitment to maintaining transparency and integrity in its recruitment processes. The police force is actively seeking capable individuals who possess the required attributes, including intelligence, strength, and unwavering patriotism, to join their ranks.

The statement further elaborated on the official URLs for accessing the authentic Nigeria Police Force recruitment portal, encouraging applicants to use only the following websites: https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng and http://policerecruitment.gov.ng.

This warning serves to protect prospective applicants from falling victim to fraudulent recruitment schemes and ensures that the recruitment process remains fair, transparent, and reliable. It underlines the NPF’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in its recruitment procedures and selecting the best candidates to serve the nation.
