A tragic incident unfolded at Saint Academy in the Busa Buji community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, on Friday morning when a school building collapsed around 11 am, trapping numerous students who were in the midst of exams.
Eyewitnesses reported that the sudden collapse of the structure caused widespread panic, as students were buried under the debris during the examination period.
Immediate rescue efforts were launched to save the trapped students. Emergency teams, including personnel from the Nigerian Police and Army, swiftly arrived at the scene to coordinate the rescue operations.
