President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays. The President landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 3:23 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18.
Before departing Abuja, President Tinubu fulfilled an important national duty by presenting the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly for consideration and passage.
On his arrival in Lagos, the President was warmly received by a delegation led by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Dr. Femi Hamzat. Also present were members of the Lagos State Executive Council and leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos.
President Tinubu, who has strong ties to Lagos as a former governor of the state, is expected to spend the festive period engaging with key stakeholders and residents. This marks his first Christmas celebration in Lagos since assuming office as Nigeria’s President in May 2023.
