Tunde Onakoya, founder of Chess in the Slum and current Guinness World Record holder for the longest chess marathon, has announced an unexpected blessing for his parents. He revealed that a yet-to-be-identified individual has gifted a new house to his parents.
Taking to his official X account, the chess master shared the good news with his followers, expressing his gratitude for the unexpected gesture. According to Onakoya, this new house is the greatest thing someone has ever done for him in his lifetime.
In his announcement, Onakoya also shed light on the struggles his parents faced before he achieved the success he enjoys today. He recounted how his mother worked as a cleaner in the school he attended while his father worked as a cab driver.
This unexpected blessing adds to Onakoya’s recent achievements, as he continues to gain recognition for his remarkable accomplishments in the world of chess.
