In a show of solidarity, youths affiliated with the Nigeria Civil Society Forum (NCSF) gathered in Abuja to express their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration.
The rally took place at the Unity Fountain in the Business District Centre of the Federal Capital City, where youths arrived as early as 9 am. They were adorned in white T-shirts and face caps bearing the bold inscription “Jagaban is working,” while carrying placards to convey their message.
Among the slogans observed on the placards was “NLC Stop Faking To Be Fighting For Nigerians,” reflecting sentiments regarding the planned two-day nationwide strike organized by the Nigerian Labour Congress.
According to the organizers of the solidarity rally, the decision to mobilize stemmed from the proliferation of inaccurate narratives circulating about the state of affairs in the country. They reiterated their belief in President Tinubu’s commitment to implementing programs and policies that benefit the nation.
The gathering underscored the support and confidence of these youths in President Tinubu’s leadership and governance, highlighting a positive reception to his initiatives among certain segments of the population.
