Valerie Fubara, the wife of the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has reiterated her commitment to praying for peace in the state, aiming to facilitate accelerated growth and development. She emphasized that the current administration will prioritize issues concerning children and youths, seeking to enhance their overall quality of life.
At the inaugural year-end party organized for children in the state, held at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Valerie Fubara expressed her joy in hosting the children and referred to them as the future leaders of the state. The event was part of the activities commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Valerie Fubara stated, “As part of the determination of the present administration of Rivers State, under the guidance of my darling husband, the welfare and well-being of our children and other Rivers people are paramount.”
Encouraging parents, she urged them to continue devoting quality time to nurturing their children, fostering their growth into responsible citizens.
