Controversial Kenyan preacher Anthony Kahura Mwangi, commonly known as Pastor T, has made startling revelations about his health, stating that he is HIV-negative despite engaging in sexual relations with HIV-positive women in the past.
During a church sermon, Pastor T shared details about his past experiences, admitting to engaging in risky behavior. He recounted a specific incident where he was intoxicated and had intimate relations with a woman who later succumbed to HIV. The preacher acknowledged a similar occurrence with another woman connected to HIV.
Despite these encounters, Pastor T claimed to have tested negative for HIV during a group testing session at a Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) center. While he did not provide a concrete explanation for his belief in being preserved by the “Lord,” he emphasized that there was a form of divine grace at play in his life.
The preacher expressed gratitude for the preservation in his life, attributing it to grace rather than personal merit. Following these experiences, Pastor T shared that he underwent a spiritual transformation and became born again in February of the following year.
In 2018, Pastor T solidified his commitment to a new chapter in his life by marrying Claudia Kabi Wahito in a church ceremony. The couple now has two children, a daughter and a son.
The pastor’s disclosure has sparked conversations about faith, personal responsibility, and the perceived role of divine intervention in one’s life.
