The management of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has confirmed his death. He was 27 years old.
The statement, which was posted on MohBad’s Instagram and X handles on Tuesday, said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, the 12th of September, 2023.”
The statement did not give a cause of death, but said that MohBad was “light until the very end.”
