Joy Bishara, one of the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in 2014 from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, has found love in the United States (US).
276 female students between the ages of 16 and 18 were kidnapped by terrorists in April 2014.
Nevertheless, Bishara was among the 57 lucky girls who escaped the terrorists’ plot by jumping from the trucks on which their abductors were transporting them.
Several others were rescued by the Nigerian Armed Forces, but over 100 are still missing.
In contrast, Bishara and her cousin Lydia Pogu, who escaped the attack that caught the attention of the world, moved to the United States.
In 2021, Bishara graduated from Southeastern University with a degree in social work.
Bishara, however, recently got engaged in the US, according to reports.
