Nigeria’s minister of state petroleum, Timipre Silva is among the ten ministers that have resigned from the cabinet to pursue his presidential ambition.
The minister of information, Lai Muhammed announced this to journalists after a valedictory meeting Mr president held with them Friday. “The minister of state petroleum is among the ten ministers that have resigned,” he said.
Other ministers that have resigned to pursue their various political ambitions are the ministers of justice, the minister of transportation, the minister of Labour, the Minister of Niger Delta, the minister of Science and Technology, minister of women’s affairs.
Others include the Minister of state mines and Steel and the minister of state Education including the minister of state for Niger Delta.
On how soon the ministers will be replaced, he said ,” The president said the outgoing ministers will be replaced very soon”.
He said the president admonished the remaining ministers to be more committed to the administration because the journey is still far.
